Š. m. lapkričio 22 d., sekmadienį, Bažnyčiai švenčiant Kristaus Karaliaus Iškilmę ir tą dieną užbaigiant liturginių metų ciklą, 2 val. p. m., po šv. Mišių, Čikagos lietuvių jaunimo centre vyko dr. Audriaus V. Plioplio archyvų atidarymas ir iškilmingas jų perdavimas Lituanistikos tyrimo centrui, kuriame nuo šiol bus saugoma žinomo menininko, neuromokslų tyrinėtojo, teisinio konsultanto, retų lietuviškų raštų kolekcininko, įskaitant ir didelį rinkinį originalios lietuvių judaikos, istorinė medžiaga. Lietuvių jaunimo centro Čiurlionio galerijoje, kurioje šiuo metu eksponuojama dr. A. Plioplio meninė instaliacija „Kalbėtas Žodis“, savo eiles skaitė Aldona Petrus Česnulevičienė, Linas Umbrasas ir Sandra Avižienytė. Renginį organizavo dr. Audrius Plioplys, Lituanistikos tyrimo centras bei Čikagos lietuvių jaunimo centras.

Oficialiajai renginio daliai prasidėjus Čiurlionio galerijoje susirinkusius svečius pasveikino Čikagos lietuvių jaunimo centro tarybos pirmininkas Antanas Rašymas ir pakvietė dr. Audrių Plioplį pristatyti puikiai įvertintą tarp pastaruoju metu Čikagos mieste ir jos apylinkėse eksponuojamų parodų meno instaliaciją „Kalbėtas Žodis“ – „Vieniems / Vien jiems“, kurios eksponatai – tarsi minties nuotrupos, asimiliavusios į suskilusius meninių darbų fragmentus, netikėtai gimusius iš smegenų skenavimo fotografijų ar elektroencefalograma registruotų smegenų bangų, autoriui patvirtinus: „…taip, tai tikrai mano proto fragmentai“. Padėkojęs visiems atvykusiesiems nepabūgus pandemijos dr. Audrius Plioplys šmaikštavo: „Sandra man paaiškino, kaip žinoti, ar renginys pavykęs. Viskas labai paprasta – jeigu klausytojų yra daugiau nei pranešėjų – pavyko!“

Dr. A. Plioplio, kaip savito braižo konceptualiojo meno kūrėjo, darbai atsispindi menininko, neurologo, mokslų daktaro, pastangas sujungti meną su neuromokslais bei menines paieškas, kuriose autorių domina viskas, kas susiję su mūsų smegenų veikla, mąstymo problematika, smegenų veikimo principais, padedančiais suvokti, kaip atskirų neuronų veikla perauga į tokius sudėtingus procesus, kaip sąvokos, mintys, mąstymas. Taip autoriui gimė siekis visa tai pavaizduoti drobėje, tam procesui perteikti pasitelkus elektroencefalogramų kreives, magnetinio rezonanso nuotraukas. Kaip teigia A. Plioplys, jo fotografijų archyve užfiksuotos jo paties mintys, prisiminimai. Menininko darbuose – fotografijų fragmentai sluoksniuojami su smegenų elektroencefalogramos kreivių ar magnetinio rezonanso nuotraukų vaizdais. Tai paties autoriaus smegenų struktūros (magnetinio rezonanso) ir smegenų elektrinio aktyvumo (elektroencefalogramos) kreivės. Taip, pasitelkus vizualinį meną, jo darbuose jautriai perteikiami mąstymo ir pažinimo procesai, kuomet,  pasak autoriaus, pirmiausia gimsta mintis, tik vėliau ieškoma spalvų, nuotrupų ar detalių minčiai ar sąvokai išsakyti – sluoksnis po sluoksnio kuriamas vaizdas – vizualinė metafora.

Susirinkusiuosius į renginį pasveikino Lietuvos Respublikos Generalinis konsulas Čikagoje Mantvydas Bekešius. Jis dėkojo dr. Audriui Pliopliui už kūrybinę energiją, meninę ir mokslinę veiklą, garsinančią Lietuvą pasaulyje, bei ilgametį darbą skatinant bendradarbiavimą tarp JAV ir Lietuvos mokslininkų. Konsulas pabrėžė, kad ypač didelį įspūdį jam paliko mokslų daktaro organizuoti renginiai, skirti archeologei,  antropologei bei archeomitologijos pradininkei prof. Marijai Gimbutienei atminti. Generalinis konsulas padėkojo Čikagos lietuvių jaunimo centrui, Lituanistikos tyrimo centrui bei renginyje dalyvavusiems meno kūrėjams už lietuviškos kultūros puoselėjimą išeivijoje.

Prieš renginį – dr. A. Plioplys ir LR Generalinis konsulas Čikagoje Mantvydas Bekešius.

Lituanistikos tyrimo centro tarybos pirmininkas dr. Robertas Vitas, pristatęs dr. Audrių V. Plioplį ir aptaręs jo veiklą, pabrėžė šių archyvų turinį ir jų svarbą. Jis akcentavo, jog dr. A. Plioplio archyvai apima jo veiklą ne tik lietuvių visuomenėje, bet ir pasaulinėje plotmėje, meninė kūryba neabejotinai praturtina ne tik lietuvių meno pasaulį, bet garsina Lietuvos vardą ir už mūsų visuomenės ribų. „Lituanistikos tyrimo centras saugo tai, ką lietuviai yra sukūrę ir tai, kas yra sukurta apie Lietuvą ir lietuvių tautą, – kalbėjo dr. Robertas Vitas, – dr. A. Plioplio archyvai – brangi mūsų rinkinių dalis ir jų perdavimas Lituanistikos tyrimo centrui rodo, jog mūsų archyvai yra gyvi – kaupiami ir nuolat pildomi. Praeitis nėra dingusi, šių archyvų medžiaga naudojasi studentai, žurnalistai, mokslininkai. Dabar minėti archyvai bus dalis Lituanistikos tyrimo centro ir turės savo atskirą kambarį“.

Renginio metu Lituanistikos tyrimo ir studijų centro tarybos pirmininkas dr. R. Vitas pakvietė dr. Audrių V. Plioplį pasirašyti sutartį, kuria minėti archyvai buvo iškilmingai perduoti Lituanistikos tyrimo centrui, nors, pasak tarybos pirmininko, jie tvarkomi ir veikia jau seniai.

Lituanistikos tyrimo ir studijų centro tarybos pirmininkas dr. R. Vitas ir dr. Audrius V. Plioplys pasirašė sutartį, kuria „Dr. Audriaus V. Plioplio“ archyvai buvo iškilmingai perduoti Lituanistikos tyrimo centrui.

Šiuose Lituanistikos tyrimo centrui perduotuose „Dr. Audriaus V. Plioplio“ archyvuose saugomi ne tik jo meninių pasiekimų dokumentai ir jų pavyzdžiai, bet ir visos jo neurologijos ir neuromokslinių tyrimų bylos bei dokumentai ir darbai, susiję su neurologija ir neuromokslais. Tai ir klinikinio, ir tiriamojo darbo su sergančiaisiais autizmu bylos, neuroimunologinių ir Alzheimerio ligos priežasčių tyrimų darbai bei teisinių konsultacijų bylos. Be dr. A. Plioplio dokumentų ir meno kūrinių pavyzdžių šiame archyve taip pat saugomas unikalus rinkinys, kurį sudaro per 40 originalių fotografijų iš Sibiro tremties vietų, kurias aštuntajame dešimtmetyje įamžino Juozas Kazlauskas. Šiame archyve taip pat yra unikali lietuviškos judaikos kolekcija ir didžiausia Šiaurės Amerikoje lietuviškos numizmatikos kolekcija.

Prasidėjus meninei renginio daliai trys žinomi Čikagos poetai – Aldona Petrus Česnulevičienė, Linas Umbrasas ir Sandra Avižienytė skaitė savo eiles. Pristatydamas ne vieną savo eilėraščių knygą išleidusią Sandrą Avižienytę menininkas prisiminė: „Kuomet Sandra supažindino mane su savo eilėmis man atsivėrė naujas pasaulis – taip gimė meninė instaliacija „Kalbėtas Žodis“.

Aldona Petrus Česnulevičienė, be eilėraščių „Mūsų akys“, apie post-virtualaus žmogaus sielos gelmes – informacijos tikrą  šaltinį, ir „Kava su prieskoniais“, apie šiandienines Amerikos miestų aktualijas, savo „Esė su poezijos užuomina“ – „Švyturys, išplėštas iš tamsos, arba Mintys, apsilankius Audriaus Plioplio kūrybos labirintuose“, skaitė: „Tai mūsų gyvenimo laikinumas, trapumas ir amžinumas/ […] Tai šviesa, kurią mes siunčiame kitiems / Šviesa, kuri mums grįžta, kuri mums taip reikalinga / kada savo aštriais kampais mes kartais daužom vienas kitą“.

Linas Umbrasas haiku dygsniais, o vėliau ir šiuolaikinių aktualijų eilėmis nusitaikė į kiekvieną atėjusįjį –„CoviDas“, „drakono dantys“ – sapnas apie žmoną arba „kiek gyvenimo suėsta“, ir  užtvirtino skaitymus „jeigu būčiau poetu“ tikindamas, jog tikrai „žinočiau visų / šventųjų vardus / taip dėl viso / Pikto.“

Sandra Avižienytė skaitė keturis eilėraščius. Pirmą kartą garsiai – instaliacijai panaudotą eilėraštį „Vien(j)iems“ pabrėždama, jog „viskas tolsta, nyksta, blėsta“, „mūsų tikĖJIMO žvaigdždė“, parašytą mažiau nei prieš 10 dienų iki renginio, 2015-aisias parašytą bet visada aktualų – „apie draugystę ir kitus dalykus“ ir 2000-aisiais pasirodžiusį eilėraštį „Išgerk lig dugno meilę godžiai“ – apie negailestingą laiko tėkmę ir gebėjimą suvokti dabartinės akimirkos svarbą ir prasmę.

Meno instaliaciją „Kalbėtas Žodis“ – tarsi minties nuotrupos, asimiliavusios į suskilusius meninių darbų fragmentus.

Renginiui baigiantis Lietuvių jaunimo centro Čiurlionio galerijos direktorė Viktorija Černičenko poezijos skaitovams įteikė gėlių puokštes ir kalėdinių saldumynų, o dr. Audrius Plioplys retoriškai iškėlė klausimą – kodėl atliekame šį kūrybinį darbą? „Todėl, kad ateis laikas, kai mūsų nebus, – priminė medicinos mokslų daktaras, – liks tik tai, ką mes sukūrėme“.

Po iškilmių prie salėje stovėjusio fortepijono, ant kurio buvo išdėliotos Sandros Avižienytės poezijos knygos, tarp kurių – ir naujai išleista „psichopatija“, iliustruota A. Plioplio darbų fragmentais, nusidriekė eilė norinčiųjų su autorės autografu įsigyti dovanojamų leidinių, vėliau renginio svečiai rinkosi dr. A. Plioplio meno studijoje ir buvo pakviesti apsilankyti atskirame jo archyvų kambaryje, kur buvo aptarti planuojami meno projektai.
